The upgraded BANIGIPA digital-to-analog converter converts analog signals (stereo R / L or 3.5mm jack signals) to digital signals (Toslink optical SPDIF or coaxial signals), which can help to solve the problem of connecting different audio interfaces to analog amplifiers.

Q: I just bought a stereo that only has AV input but I want to use my TV through it. The TV only has optical out. Will this DAC work?
A: The DAC converts coaxial/optical audio signal to analog L/R RCA and 3.5mm Jack audio -this process is irreversible.
Since your TV has an optical output, please connect your TV optical output and the converter input by optical cable in the package (So you don’t need additional cables).Then connect your stereo 3.5mm Jack or RCA audio into the output of the DAC.
Q: I hook this item up to my Samsung tv and it works on the regular channels, but I can’t get it to work on the streaming channels like Amazon prime.
A: It May be not compatible with audio played on Amazon, so no audio output. We are sorry to tell you that this item is only compatible with the PCM/LPCM audio format.
Q: I have a new LG TV that offers either bitstream or PCM, the format for the optical output cannot be changed, DAC how work？
A: If the Format for the optical output on your TV, such as LG TV, can’t be changed, and If there’s a separate switch for Dolby Digital, please make sure that you turn Dolby OFF and your TV optical audio out should select the BitStream or PCM and our item can work with it for the BitStream or PCM.
